My name is Ashton, a video production and live broadcast freelancer from Canton, GA. I fell in love with video creation during high school and have expanded my knowledge through work with the University of Utah’s Athletic programs and Student Media. I graduated in May 2024 and am currently searching for a full-time job in the Salt Lake City area. Please contact me about any openings you may have.

  • Operated Sony Broadcast camera for NBA Mobile-View camera, and roaming RF camera for the Utah Jazz Home show.
  • Built and struck video equipment for production.
  • Collaborated with NBA directors and producers to provide the best camera work, with sharp focus, smooth moves, and good frame composition.

University Of Utah Athletics Broadcast Production

December 2020 - Present

  • Operated Game, Tight, Slash, End-Zone, and Hand-Held camera positions, using Grass Valley Professional Broadcast Cameras, for University of Utah Football, Basketball, Gymnastics, Volleyball, Baseball, Soccer, Softball, and University of Utah Commencement Ceremonies.
  • Executed in-venue video board and live-stream shows.
  • Liaised with the director and technical director to achieve the desired look and feel of scenes and subjects.
  • Served as Shader, Graphics Operator, Replay Operator, Score Bug Operator, and LED Board Operator.
  • Built and struck video equipment.
  • Worked with venue MCs and stage managers to set up and execute promotional content during game stoppages.
